Die ersten Kataloge sind angekommen und einige Häuser sind wirklich super! Die angegebenen Preise scheinen mir aber etwas niedrig. Wo ist der Haken?
Wir werden den einen oder anderen Anbieter kontaktieren, um uns mal Angebote einzuholen.

The first catalogues came with the mail. Looking through them there are quite some nice houses in there. But the prices look so cheap. Where's the catch?
I think we'll have to contact some of the companies to get some quotes and real prices.

Auf der Suche nach einem neuen Zuhause - looking for a new home
Es ist 5 vor 12 - nicht nur bildlich gesprochen.
Seit einiger Zeit suchen wir nach einer größeren Wohnung. Unsere Entscheidung, eine Immobilie zu kaufen steht. Doch gibt der Markt dank günstiger Zinsen nichts her. Überteuerte Preise, ungeeignete Grundrisse, zu kleine Wohnungen - scheinbar muss unsere Traumimmobilie erst noch gebaut werden.
Mittlerweile kennen wir alle Angebote auf Immobilienscout und in fast in allen Zeitungen der Gegend.
Aus Spaß fordere ich Kataloge von Bauträgern für Massiv und Fertighäusern an - bei den aktuellen Wohnungspreisen könne man sich ja gleich ein Haus kaufen, so mein Argument.

It is high time.
We've been looking for a larger appartment for the past couple of months. We made a decision to acquire a property. However, the market does not have a lot to offer thanks to the incredibly low interest rates. Way too high prices, unsuitable layouts, too small appartments - it seems like the property of our dreams still needs to be built.
Meanwhile we know all offerings on Immoscout and in the local newspapers.
Just for fun I ordered some catalogues of real estate developers who are specialized in building solid buildings and prefab houses . Looking at the current prices for appartments I could buy a house - that was my main (not really seriously meant) argument.
